Swift Creek Trading is a once struggling retail store that Michael bought with the intention of restoring back to life, and using to give back to the community. He not only uses the shop to provide much of the necessary equipment and clothing that the community needs for the rough winters and warm summers, but also creates custom designed clothing for the local sports teams, clubs, and annual events, many of which he sponsors through the shop. Michael has been able to use much of his background and experience in business consulting and his own history of ownership to revive this shop into a thriving small town enterprise.
Big Goals
Though our location is based in a small town, we aim to bring economic growth to our area through local and global community outreach. We believe that Small Town America can thrive once again with proper stewardship, commitment, respect for the communities we are serving, and innovative ideas based on years of first hand experience. We aim to create this same growth that we have seen in our own retail project here in Afton in small town businesses of all sizes and needs, all over the world.
